Simple Machines was formed by puppeteers Rollin Carlson and Tony Fuemmeler in 2009 after together on the UNIMA Award winning Pinocchio for Tears of Joy Theatre in 2007

Simple Machines’ mission is to create wonder and amazing performance with simple means.

bugged. is a wordless journey through a metamorphic micro-universe. Drawing upon genres of graphic novels, science fiction, and silent movies, puppeteers Rollin Carlson and Tony Fuemmeler use an overhead projector and ordinary materials to animate a multi-layered shadow-world of insects and humankind struggling for survival.
